Mondeo Circus – Creating Family Traditions That Last a Lifetime
There’s something so magical about the circus. Maybe it’s the excitement as the big top comes into view, the music, or simply the chance to step away from everyday life and make memories together. I’m trying to keep little yearly traditions alive for George and me, and a trip to Mondeo Circus was the perfect way to do just that.

A Magical Welcome By Mondeo Circus
When we arrived, we were so kindly given front-row seats, and honestly, they made the whole experience even more special. Before the show had even begun, the children were beaming from ear to ear as they were invited to ride around the circus ring on horseback. It was such a lovely touch and instantly set the tone for an unforgettable afternoon.
A Show That Flew By
I’ll admit, when I realised the show lasted two hours, I wondered if it might feel a little long for the children. How wrong I was! The moment the lights dimmed and the first performers appeared, every worry disappeared. From start to finish, the show had us completely captivated.

We gasped at the daring acts, laughed until our cheeks hurt, and even found ourselves dancing along. George and my niece jumped up and danced like crazy, completely caught up in the atmosphere. Watching them have so much fun was one of my favourite moments of the day.
Kikin the Clown Stole the Show
I have to give a special mention to Kikin the Clown. He was absolutely hilarious! Of course, I laughed at all of his antics, but nothing compared to hearing the children howl with laughter. They were laughing so hard they actually had tummy aches, and seeing their joy was priceless.

Breathtaking Performances by Mondeo Circus
One performance that left us speechless featured two enormous rotating wheels, with the artists running, balancing and performing incredible stunts as they spun faster and faster. The precision, trust and bravery on display were simply breathtaking, and we all watched with our hearts in our mouths.
Then came the adorable polka-dot horses, and my niece instantly fell in love. They were so sweet and such a charming part of the show.
Filling Our Memory Books
At the moment, the children each have a memory book where they collect photographs, tickets and write about all the adventures they’ve had. I’ve just bought them both a new one ready for our Cornwall trip, and there’s no doubt this magical day at Mondeo Circus will be the very first memory to fill its pages.
Because, at the end of the day, it’s not just about seeing an amazing show. It’s about creating traditions, sharing laughter, and making memories that our children will carry with them long after the circus has packed up and moved on.
