Business & Pleasure x Julia Berolzheimer

Some collaborations feel like clever marketing. Others feel like destiny.

The collaboration between Business & Pleasure and Julia Berolzheimer firmly belongs in the second category.

For years, Business & Pleasure has been my go-to for garden and beach essentials. If you know me, you’ll know I love items that are comfortable, beautifully made, and—very importantly—matching. Their collections have always embodied that effortless balance of practicality and luxury. Pieces that are made to be used, loved, and lived with.

And then there’s Julia Berolzheimer. One of my favourite influencers, whom I’ve followed since the early days of Instagram. Long before curated feeds became formulaic, Julia stood out for her natural flair—not just for fashion, but for home, travel, and the art of living well. She is the perfect embodiment of living life beautifully, where even the simplest moments feel considered.

So when Business & Pleasure and Julia Berolzheimer joined forces, it felt inevitable. Two worlds aligned by elegance, quality, and intention.

Celebrating Outdoor Living the Business & Pleasure Way

Outdoor living deserves to be celebrated.

Too often, we treat our gardens, poolside spaces, and beach days as an afterthought—throwing together mismatched chairs, towels, and umbrellas because they’re “only for outside.”

But Business & Pleasure challenges that mindset entirely.

This collaboration reminds us that having lunch outside, enjoying a drink by the pool, or spending a long day at the beach can—and should—feel luxurious. Outdoor spaces are extensions of our homes, our style, and the way we choose to live.

It’s not about excess. It’s about intention.

Falling for the Lauren Stripe in Pink

Last year, I purchased the Lauren Stripe in pink, and it quickly became a favourite. I started with cushions for my garden furniture, and I can honestly say they are the most plump, soft cushions I own.

These aren’t cushions you perch on politely. These are cushions you sink into.

They’re generously sized, unbelievably comfortable, and so well filled that lying down on them feels indulgent. I’ve fallen asleep under the shade more times than I can count, wrapped in that quiet comfort that Business & Pleasure does so well. They’re so large that I genuinely feel lost on them—like a small child curled up somewhere impossibly cosy.

This is what quality feels like.

The Travel Rug That Converts Everyone

Next came the travel rug, perfectly matched to the Lauren Stripe. And if you know, you know—Business & Pleasure travel rugs are something special.

One side is made from thick, absorbent towel material, while the other is a soft velour that feels incredible against your skin. It’s practical, yes, but also unapologetically beautiful.

When I first purchased one years ago, I was laughed at. Friends and family thought my choice was a little flamboyant. A bit over the top. But that opinion didn’t last long.

The moment someone sat on it, everything changed.

There was always a quiet surprise. A pause. Then a comment along the lines of, “Oh… this is actually amazing.” Little by little, what started as my rug would become everyone’s rug. By the end of every holiday, we’d all be sitting on it together.

Quality doesn’t need defending. It speaks for itself.

Matching Details That Make the Difference

Of course, I already had the matching Business & Pleasure umbrella and beach towel—because once you commit to a colourway this good, there’s no turning back.

These pieces don’t just look beautiful; they function beautifully. The umbrella provides generous shade while elevating the entire beach setup, and the towels feel just as luxurious as they look.

This is where Business & Pleasure truly shines: every item works on its own, but together they create a cohesive experience. Nothing feels accidental. Nothing feels mismatched.

The Tommy Chair: Comfort Everyone Steals

To finish the setup, I added The Tommy Chair—and this chair deserves its own moment.

It is unbelievably comfortable. Thoughtfully designed, versatile in its reclining positions, and supportive without being bulky. Whether you’re sitting upright with a drink or lying back for a nap, it adapts effortlessly.

And just like everything else from Business & Pleasure, it’s easy to carry. Comfortable to hold. Lightweight without feeling flimsy.

There’s one recurring theme with this chair: I leave my spot for just a moment, and when I return, someone else is sitting in it. Every time. Always followed by the same reaction—pleasant surprise.

That’s the magic of good design.

A Dream Purchase Still to Come

My next dream purchase is the Business & Pleasure beach cart. We do already have one, but it’s tough to manoeuvre on sand and lacks the thoughtful design that makes everything else in this collection so effortless.

A beach cart should make life easier and feel beautiful. And honestly, once you experience outdoor living done this well, it’s hard to go back.

Make the Beach and Garden an Extension of Your Life

This Business & Pleasure x Julia Berolzheimer collaboration isn’t just about beautiful products—it’s about mindset.

Don’t pull out mismatched items because they’re “just for the beach” or “only for the garden.” Treat these spaces as an extension of the way you live. Choose pieces that bring comfort, quality, and joy into your everyday moments.

Because these moments—afternoons in the sun, long lunches outside, quiet naps under an umbrella—are worth celebrating.

And when two favourites come together to honour those moments so beautifully, it feels like more than a collaboration. It feels like an invitation to slow down, sit comfortably, and live well.

And honestly? I can’t wait to see what Business & Pleasure does next.
